Responsibilities

The Senior Recruiter will identify, select and hire interns, co-ops, college graduates entering the ADP program, and experienced professionals to fill positions in the offices and on projects throughout Allan Myers (PA, DE, MD, VA).  The Senior Recruiter will be a key member of a collaborative team of recuiters, recruiting coordinators and analysts as well as regional Human Resource Managers located throughout our offices.  The Senior Recruiter will lead talent acquistion efforts, and manage all aspects of the recruitment life-cycle for interns, co-ops, college graduates entering the ADP program, and experienced professionals.  The Senior Recruiter will also be responsible for leading key recruitment projects as needed.

 

Attracting, Developing, Rewarding and Retaining the Right People for Allan Myers.

  

Responsibilities

1.       Collaborating and partnering with hiring managers, some at the executive level, to effectively define staffing & hiring needs. 

2.       Developing in depth relationships with leaders to understand not only the technical needs, but the intangible competencies and traits that make a good fit, and strong performer on a specific team. 

3.       Developing and implementing a position-specific, targeted search strategy to identify and source candidates. 

4.       Developing and implementing targeted campus approach for key positions, key locations including a tiered approach to which schools to work with.

5.       Preparing recruitment advertising & postings that utilizes the latest recruitment marketing concepts including search engine optimization, iCIMS technology, and social media.

6.       Managing candidate relationships with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships and pipelines.

7.       Building relationships with leaders, hiring managers and regional HR Managers to become a valued resource and trusted advisor to achieve business objectives.

8.       Assisting with the creation of the annual workforce projections, including adjustments throughout the year as needed by the business

9.       Interviewing applicants and selecting top talent with a focus on the quality of hires. Preparing written and verbal candidate presentation documents.

 

10.   Managing the interview scheduling, pre-employment processes and offer process.

11.   Reduce the overall annual spend on Recruiting fees by utilizing in house recruiting techniques using LinkedIn, Indeed, Glass Door, Job Boards, etc.  Select and manage those 3rd parties that Allan Myers will engage with.

12.   Assisting with the development and implementation of the regional and company-wide recruitment strategy.

Key Projects:

· Lead member of the social media and recruitment marketing planning team.  Responsible for the overall execution of the social media and marketing campaigns for all social media and web/mobile outlets as they pertain to people, recruitment and employment brand.

· Lead member of the diversity recruiting planning team.  Responsible for leading the overall execution of the diversity recruitment plan and will play a large role in the creation of this plan with others from the recruitment and HR teams.

· Integral member of the campus recruitment planning team, who will attend various events and assist with the execution of the programs.

· Integral member of the Craft Recruitment Strategy team as it relates to relationship building, pipeline development and execution in the southern part of the Myers footprint (specifically VA and Southern MD).

· Developing deep and meaningful relationships with key leadership in the VA region through understanding the business, staffing needs, and executing on key fills in the region with quality hires.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  In order of importance, list specific skills or talents that a qualified incumbent should possess (i.e., management of large staff, computer applications, subject knowledge, etc.)

1.     Recent recruiting experience required, with a focus on corporate and campus recruitment; a mix of high volume candidate processing and direct sourcing experience highly preferred. 

2.     5+ years’ experience as a corporate recruiter.

3.     Previous experience in Construction or other craft driven industry highly desired.

4.     Experience working closely with a decentralized HR team and managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle with a passion for recruiting.

5.     A focus on establishing long term relationships and skilled at identifying top talent to fill current and strategic needs.

6.     Business acumen with strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality.

7.     Experience strategically using social media tools.

8.     Expert in full life cycle recruiting for both campus and experienced salary.

9.     Direct sourcing experience required.

10.  Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

11.  Must exhibit excellent written/verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills

12.  Demonstrates a high level of energy, enthusiasm and passion for recruiting

13.  Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with integrity, sound judgment and a sense of urgency.

14.  Ability to work outside of the core business hours when necessary

15.  Travel throughout PA, MD, DE and VA.

16.  Bilingual is a plus.
